NAVIGATION WITHIN JAVA DOCUMENTS Certain documents in this Presentation are Java Documents which are activated by hot links. Some of these documents are multi page and others are single and all contain navigation buttons. Once activated Java will load in the Browser and the first time will cause a small delay in the document displaying while Java loads. Java needs to be enabled in your Browser settings. NAVIGATION To navigate within a document the navigation buttons may be used or click on either side of the Java page and the pages will advance or reverse depending on which side of the page you click. NAVIGATING WITHOUT TOOL BARS - THIS ALSO APPLIES TO SOME OTHER DISPLAYS If the Browser navigation and location bars are turned off, to get the largest screen area, by right clicking on the margins but off the edge of the page and this will bring up a menu containing the [BACK] command. to leave the document and return to a previous page or right click [GO TO] on the browser menu bar then choose the [BACK] option. With the Navigation Bar turned off the normal [BACK] button on the tool bar is not present when these documents are displayed. In most other pages it is only necessary to right click on the page to bring up the menu box containing the [BACK] option. PRINTING Some of the Java documents may be printed by clicking the [PRINT] at the top of the page. When you activate a Java Page Print job it will give you a warning that this is a dangerous procedure. This warning is a general one which can be ignored if you have properly scanned the CD ROM for viruses before accessing these documents. If a virus check has been done you may ignore this warning. The first time this is done you may be asked to update your printer driver by clicking [YES] in the dialogue box. This is a function built into the documents which carry the update code and this takes only a second or so to complete. After this all print enabled documents will print quickly. Print disabled documents require permission see the Disclaimer Page. |
